Dr. Silk Ugwu Ogbu  Head Of Department at School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos, Nigeria is a political and communication strategist. His early education was in Political Science. He later proceeded to earn both M.sc and Ph.D. in Political Science (International Relations). He also holds an M.sc degree and another Ph.D. in Marketing (Public Relations) from the University of Nigeria. His research interests are in the areas of conflict resolution, rhetorical communication, negotiation, political communication, leadership strategies, development communication, brand management, and stakeholder relations. He is a public relations and customer service consultant, a political analyst, and a public communication strategist. He has extensive experience from many years of private sector practice and has also contributed immensely through numerous conferences and publications to the pursuit of academic excellence.
